Uwe Bremer, H. C. Artmann. Die schwarze Kunst

In 1978, H. C. Artmann wrote "seven messages on dark arts" by Uwe Bremer. Published at the time in a graphic portfolio limited to 90 copies and published by the Hamburg Brockstedt Gallery with seven colour etchings, this text by the famous Austrian writer is still widely unknown today. In 2021, the year of Artmann's centenary, Bremer pays tribute to his friend, who died in 2000, with a new portrait and interprets his text from 1978 in seven new woodcuts – gathered in a "magic box" with text-quoting utensils.
