The chocolate shoe is the main requisite of the video work for the exhibition "The Abandoned Shoes" in the Rheinischen Landesmuseum Bonn, 1992. Developed in cooperation with the shoe designer Jan Jansen, cast by confectioners, embedded in a transparent box on satin, the multiple has reached a common circulation of about 2,500 copies on exhibitions in 140 museums, galleries, art fairs and shops, published in textbooks, newspaper articles and television reports. The object (melting point 27°C) was produced in Cologne, Munich, Gmunden, Vienna and – from 2014 to 2018 – in Salzburg.
