With his play cards “Kunstkartenhaus” (House of Arts Cards) Andreas Paeslack encourages testing of the static qualities of the art Directions in the 20th century. As constituents form 50 art cards the “Kunstkartenhaus”, available from Gebr. König publishing house – reproductions of approved art works (from Pablo Picasso to Pipilotti Rist), edited with a text on the object’s place in the development in fine arts by Achim Preiß, the curator of the highly controversial Weimar exhibition “Aufstieg und Fall der Moderne” (Rise and Fall of Modernism).
